Just received one of those ego-boosting e-mails from a photo competition. I am a finalist in Travel Photographer of the Year 2019. It was the first time I submitted a portfolio of images instead of single images and I am one out of only 22 remaining photographers in thecategory “The Art of Travel”. I am very pleased with the place in the final in this specific category.
2 years ago I was the winner of the Wildlife category in Travel Photographer of The Year with the image “From the Abyss”. The image was of the hand of a Japanese Macaque and now I keep my fingers crossed that my set of 8 images can go all the way once more. Wish me luck! 🙂
