After several inspiring weeks, my fine art photography exhibition ICONS II in Malta has now come to an end and the photographic prints have been taken down from the venue. This collection of fine art wildlife prints featured some of my most personal black and white animal photographs, with a focus on iconic African species like zebra, lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards etc. It is always a bit bittersweet to see the space empty again, but I’m walking away from the experience feeling incredibly grateful.

To everyone who took the time to visit, thank you. Whether you stopped in quickly or spent time with each image, it truly meant a lot. I had some great conversations about wildlife, photography and what draws us to certain animals.
A big thank-you as well to those who sent kind emails or shared your thoughts after seeing the exhibition. It means a lot to know that the images connected with you in some way. That’s really what this work is about for me.
ICONS II focused on black and white animal prints, created to highlight emotion, light and presence. All the pieces are carefully crafted, and are available as limited edition fine art prints. From the calm power of a lion to the weathered texture of an elephant, my goal was to keep things simple and honest, and let the animals speak for themselves.
Even though the exhibition is over, my full collection of fine art wildlife photography is always available online. If you missed ICONS II or want to take another look, you can explore the gallery at johansiggesson.com.
Thanks again for visiting, writing and sharing.
Until next time.... /Johan
