Giraffe ARt Prints for Sale
Limited Edition Black and white Giraffe Wall Art
By: Johan Siggesson
These giraffe prints come from real encounters in the wild, photographed on foot in parts of Africa where giraffes still move through open savanna and woodland.
Each image is offered as a limited edition fine art print and available as giraffe wall art for collectors who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and lasting quality. Much of this work is presented in black and white, a style that allows the elegance, height, and gentle presence of each giraffe to come forward without distraction.
Many of these photographs were made during long hours spent watching how giraffes feed, move, and interact with one another. That time in the field shapes how these fine art wildlife prints feel. They are not hurried images, but quiet moments that show the character of the animal.

Where Giraffe Prints Find Their Place
Giraffe prints work beautifully in spaces where light, openness, and subtle detail can be appreciated. The tall, elegant form of a giraffe naturally suits rooms with high ceilings or open layouts, where the image has space to breathe. Presented as black and white animal photography, these fine art wildlife prints blend easily into both modern and classic interiors.
In living rooms and dining areas, a giraffe print adds a calm focal point without overpowering the space. The gentle presence of the animal creates a sense of height and balance, especially when displayed as a limited edition fine art print on museum grade paper. Many collectors choose giraffe wall art for areas where they want a feeling of quiet movement and visual flow.
Home offices and studios are also well suited to giraffe prints. The steady, unhurried nature of these animals brings a relaxed atmosphere that supports focus and creativity. Bedrooms and more private spaces benefit from the softer tonal range found in black and white photography, which keeps the image calming rather than dramatic.
Because each giraffe print is produced in small editions, these works are not just decorative but thoughtful additions to a home or professional interior, offering something that feels both refined and personal.
Frequently asked questions
1. Where are these giraffe prints photographed?
Johan’s giraffe images are created in the wild across parts of Africa where giraffes still move freely through open savanna and woodland. These natural settings provide the light and space needed to capture genuine moments rather than staged scenes.
2. Do you ship giraffe prints internationally?
Yes. Johan ships fine art wildlife prints worldwide. Each giraffe print is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely, whether it is being delivered locally or overseas.
3. What paper and materials are used for giraffe prints?
Giraffe prints are produced on premium baryta paper using archival pigment inks. This combination delivers rich tonal depth, fine detail, and long term durability for collectors seeking museum quality giraffe wall art.
4. Why do black and white giraffe prints work so well as wall art?
Black and white photography highlights the gentle expression, long lines, and subtle texture of a giraffe without the distraction of colour. This gives giraffe wall art a calm and timeless feel that works across many interior styles.
5. Are Johan Siggesson’s giraffe prints released as limited editions?
Yes. Most of Johan Siggesson’s giraffe prints are offered as limited editions. Each fine art giraffe print is produced using museum grade materials and signed and numbered for authenticity and collectability.
6. How do I choose the right giraffe wall art for my home?
Think about how you want the room to feel. A tall portrait creates elegance and presence, while a wider scene adds openness and flow. Black and white giraffe prints work especially well in modern, minimalist, and nature inspired interiors.
7. What makes Johan Siggesson’s giraffe prints different from other wildlife photography?
Johan’s work focuses on quiet moments and natural behaviour rather than dramatic scenes. His giraffe prints are shaped by time spent observing these animals in the wild, giving the images a sense of calm and authenticity.
8. What size options are available for giraffe prints?
Giraffe prints are available in a range of sizes, from smaller fine art wildlife prints to large statement pieces designed for feature walls. Each product page lists the available formats so you can choose what suits your space best.
9. Do giraffe prints support wildlife conservation?
Johan’s photography is closely connected to wildlife conservation through ethical field practices, awareness, and support for organisations working to protect giraffes and their habitats.
10. How long does worldwide shipping take?
Print production usually takes around one to two weeks. Once ready, shipping normally takes under one week. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location.
11. Are framed giraffe prints available?
Giraffe prints can be ordered either unframed or professionally framed and ready to hang. Because framed works are larger and more fragile, shipping costs are calculated separately and insurance may be added. For this reason, many collectors choose to frame their prints locally, which is often safer and more cost effective.

Protecting Giraffes Through Photography
Giraffes are among the most graceful and distinctive animals in Africa, yet they face growing challenges. Habitat fragmentation, human expansion, and changes in their ecosystems continue to threaten their populations. Spending time observing giraffes in the wild reveals how calmly they navigate their surroundings, always moving with a slow, deliberate grace that belies the fragility of their future.
This collection is about more than just creating beautiful images. It aims to highlight the reality of a species that is often overlooked and increasingly pushed to the edges of its natural habitat. Each photograph is a gentle reminder of how easily these animals could vanish from the landscapes they have inhabited for generations.
By supporting ethical wildlife photography and responsible safari practices, we also help protect the habitats that giraffes depend on. When people feel a connection to these gentle giants, they are more likely to care about their future and the wild spaces they call home.
Through my photography, I strive to show giraffes as living, breathing animals with a right to exist in harmony with the world around them, not just as distant symbols of the savanna.

How was this Giraffe Print Created?
'Equilibrium' - Serengeti, Tanzania (2022)
Sometimes in the wild, the land itself seems to offer an idea before the animals arrive. One morning in Serengeti, as we drove along a dirt track, we came across a patch of dried, dead trees. The scene immediately caught my eye. Their stark, vertical forms looked like the perfect stage for a photograph. The only problem was that the stage was empty.
In wildlife photography it is not always about reacting to what is in front of you. Often you have to read the landscape, interpret the behaviour of an animal, and take a chance on what might unfold.
We kept on driving and around the next bend we saw a giraffe walking slowly in our direction. I imagined how powerful it could be if this giraffe moved into the grove of dead trees. We decided to turn around and position the vehicle for what I thought and hoped might happen.
Within minutes the giraffe wandered exactly where I had hoped. Then came the final gift. It stopped, turned, and for a brief moment looked straight into the lens.
What made the scene so remarkable was where it chose to pause. The giraffe stopped at exactly the right spot, perfectly positioned between two trees. Its tall frame aligned in harmony with the stark verticals around it. Had it been only a few meters to either side, that delicate balance would have been lost and the composition broken.
That is how Equilibrium was created. A combination of instinct, patience, and a little luck, where preparation met opportunity and the photograph I had pictured in my mind became real.
