The Johan Siggesson Wildlife Photography Grant

The Johan Siggesson Wildlife Photography Grant is an annual $500 grant created to support emerging photographers who are passionate about wildlife, nature, and conservation storytelling.

Wildlife photography has the power to do more than document animals. At its best, it creates connection, respect, and awareness. This grant was created to encourage photographers who want to use their work to highlight the beauty, presence, and importance of the natural world.

Why This Grant Exists

As a wildlife photographer, I have spent years in places where patience, silence, and respect for the subject matter shape every image.

This grant was created to encourage photographers who feel drawn to that same pursuit. Wildlife photography can be both artistic and important. It can inspire wonder, deepen understanding, and remind us of what is worth protecting.

My hope is that this grant helps support one photographer each year who is committed to seeing the natural world with care and sharing it with others through their work.
