Testimonials

Laura, Edinburgh, UK

"I saw Johan’s elephant photograph of Craig in Amboseli online and knew it had to be part of our collection. The depth and emotion in his eyes are unforgettable."

Where Cheetah Prints Belong

Cheetah prints bring a sense of movement and alertness to a space without feeling overpowering. Their presence is shaped by speed, balance, and grace, making cheetah wall art a strong choice for collectors looking for refined animal prints and wildlife wall art.

In living rooms and open spaces, a cheetah art print often creates quiet energy. The flow of the body, the tension held before motion, and the natural grace in how cheetahs move draw the eye without demanding attention. As fine art wildlife photography, these cheetah prints work well as statement wall art or as part of a curated collection of animal wall art.

Home offices and personal spaces benefit from the clarity cheetahs represent. A black and white cheetah print adds focus and purpose to the room, offering visual strength without distraction. For those seeking limited edition wildlife prints or black and white animal prints, cheetah photography offers a balance of movement and restraint.

Because each cheetah print is produced as a limited edition fine art print, it carries both visual and lasting value. More than decorative wall art, these cheetah prints are created for collectors who want meaningful wildlife art that continues to reward close viewing over time.

Lion Print FAQ

1. Are Johan Siggesson’s cheetah prints limited edition?

Yes. Many cheetah prints are released as limited editions. Each fine art cheetah print is individually signed and numbered, ensuring authenticity and long term collectable value.

2. Where are these cheetah prints photographed?

All cheetah images are photographed in the wild across parts of Africa where cheetahs still live and move freely. These natural environments provide the space, light, and atmosphere needed to capture genuine moments.

3. Do you ship cheetah prints internationally?

Yes. Cheetah prints are shipped worldwide. Each fine art print is carefully packaged using archival materials to ensure it arrives safely, whether delivered locally or overseas.

4. What paper and materials are used for cheetah prints?

Cheetah prints are produced on premium baryta paper using archival pigment inks. This process delivers fine detail, rich tonal depth, and long term durability suited to museum quality cheetah wall art.

5. Why does black and white work so well for cheetah wall art?

Black and white photography highlights the movement, structure, and natural grace of a cheetah without the distraction of colour. This gives cheetah wall art a timeless quality that works across many interior styles.

6. How do I choose the right cheetah wall art for my space?

Think about the feeling you want the room to have. A close cheetah portrait brings focus and intensity, while a wider scene introduces balance and flow. Black and white cheetah prints work especially well in modern, minimalist, and nature inspired interiors.

7. Are framed cheetah prints available?

Cheetah prints can be ordered unframed or professionally framed and ready to hang. Because framed works are larger and more delicate, shipping costs and insurance are calculated separately. Many collectors choose to frame their prints locally for added peace of mind.

8. What sets Johan Siggesson’s cheetah prints apart from other wildlife photography?

Johan’s cheetah photography is shaped by extended time in the field rather than staged scenes. The images focus on natural behaviour, movement, and stillness, resulting in cheetah prints that feel honest, restrained, and closely connected to real moments in the wild.

9. What size options are available for cheetah prints?

Cheetah prints are available in a range of sizes, from smaller fine art wildlife prints to larger statement pieces designed for feature walls. Size options are listed on each individual product page.

10. How long does worldwide shipping take?

Print production usually takes one to two weeks. Once completed, shipping typically takes under one week. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on destination.

11. Does your cheetah photography support wildlife conservation?

Johan’s work is rooted in ethical wildlife photography and responsible field practice. Through awareness, storytelling, and support for conservation focused organisations, the work contributes to respect and protection for cheetahs and their habitats.

Are cheetahs endangered?

Yes, cheetahs are classified as vulnerable, and their numbers in the wild are declining. There are now only around 7,000 individuals left across Africa and a small pocket in Iran. The main threats include habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, a reduction in natural prey, and illegal wildlife trade.

Cheetahs are often seen as symbols of speed and precision, but their future is far from secure. They rely on large, open spaces to hunt and survive, yet much of that land is disappearing. As farms, roads, and fences spread across their range, cheetahs are pushed into smaller, more fragmented areas. In some regions, they are killed by farmers trying to protect livestock. These pressures are growing, and the window for action is narrowing.

Spending time with cheetahs in the wild shifts your perspective. You begin to notice their solitude, their awareness, and the quiet way they move through the land. Their survival depends not just on their speed but on the space they have and the decisions we make.

This collection of cheetah photographs is not only about showing beauty or motion. It is about capturing their stillness, their alert presence, and the delicate balance they live within. Each image is a quiet reminder of what could be lost if we do not protect the open landscapes they depend on.

Supporting wildlife photography and responsible travel helps keep these places alive. It also supports the people working on the ground every day to protect animals like the cheetah. Whether through conservation efforts, ethical tourism, or simply staying informed, every choice matters.

There are many ways to support the future of cheetahs. Organisations like the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) focus on protecting cheetahs through habitat preservation, scientific research, and working with communities to reduce conflict. Groups like Panthera also help by securing large, connected habitats across Africa. Supporting efforts like these helps ensure that cheetahs remain part of the wild for generations to come.

Cheetahs From the blog

cheetah-malaika-bawa-print.jpg

The story behind this in-demand Cheetah print

This photograph was taken in the Maasai Mara, Kenya in 2012, on my very first photographic safari. At the time, I had no real sense of how rare this moment was or how it would shape my path as a wildlife photographer.

This was my very first encounter with a cheetah and the cheetah in the frame is Malaika. Beside her is her cub, Bawa. Even then, Malaika was already known for her resilience and her ability to raise cubs in an environment where very few survive. Seeing her with Bawa was not something I expected on my first trip to Africa.

We came across them on the savanna and followed them for a while. At one point they were standing on this fallen log, elevated just enough to scan the grass around them. There was no rush. No chase. Just awareness. Malaika was calm but alert, while Bawa watched her closely, as if learning how to read the world through her body language

What I really love with this image is the glance backwards as if looking for reassurance. Is everything ok? Are we safe?

Looking back now, this photograph marks the beginning of how I approach wildlife photography. Malaika and Bawa did not perform. They simply existed, and I was allowed to witness a small part of that relationship. That understanding has stayed with me for more than a decade, across many countries and many encounters.

This image is not just a memory from my first safari. It is a reminder of why I photograph wildlife the way I do nowadays, and why every frame must earn its place through patience, honesty, and care.
