This horse print was made with sand in my teeth and hooves thundering just feet away. It took more than timing or technique. It took presence. Getting close in every sense.
 
Photographed in the wilds of Camargue, France, this scene captures a rare moment of raw energy and motion, frozen in striking black and white. It’s a reminder that the most powerful images come when you are truly immersed.
 
Inspired by Robert Capa’s famous words, “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough,” this piece is about more than horses. It’s about commitment, instinct and being fully there.
