#107- As If They Were Angels | Horse Print

Camargue, France - 2025 
 
"As If They Were Angels" was taken in the Camargue region of southern France. The horses were running slowly through shallow water. The light was soft and even. There was no noise except the quiet splash of hooves. I’ve seen these horses behave with real force and dominance, but this moment felt different. Calm, steady, almost weightless. For a few seconds, they looked less like animals in motion and more like something beyond that.
 
These horses are often shown at full gallop, kicking up water and dust, and there’s strength in that. But now and then, a different kind of moment appears. One that feels more balanced. I try to stay ready for those moments and keep things simple in how I frame and compose. Working in black and white helps me focus on the shapes, lines, and space between them.
 
This image is part of a collection of horse prints. Each one shows a different side of the animal. Some are full of energy. Others, like this one, are quiet. There is no need for explanation. It just works in still spaces.
 
"As If They Were Angels" is for anyone who appreciates simplicity and etherical moments. It fits in homes where calm is part of the design. Where the goal is not to impress but to create balance.
What stood out to me when I took this image was the quiet. I hope that feeling comes through on the wall.
